Attorney Joshua R. Mason

Josh Mason has been practicing in the family law field since 2001, two weeks after he was married. Josh began working in family law while attending law school at Thomas Jefferson School of Law here in San Diego, California. Josh chose to remain in family law after graduating in December of 2003 and passing of the February 2004 California Bar Exam. After working for two separate family law firms in San Diego, Josh felt it was time to open his own firm in July of 2006, just one week prior to the birth of his son. Since Josh has worked as a law clerk in family law and then continued to stay in family law as an attorney, he has worked a divorce case from the initial pleadings to the final trial and done all of the work in-between. Additionally, the birth of Josh's son has placed the custody and visitation issues of his clients in a much different light. As such, Josh understands the importance of every case to each client.

Josh was born and raised in Oregon and completed his undergraduate education at Western Oregon University in Monmouth, Oregon, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in English with a minor in health. While at Western Oregon, Josh spent every Spring as an assistant baseball coach at Central High School.
