Child Support and Spousal Support in California

Initial, temporary child and spousal support is calculated using a computer program.  This office utilizes the Dissomaster program which is comparable to that used by the San Diego County Courts and we can give a rough estimate of what you will be paying or receiving prior to going to court.

Permanent spousal support is based upon Family Code Section 4320 and the factors listed therein.  Click on the resource section of this site for links to the California Family Code.

This office also handles modifications of child and spousal support orders that are already in place.  Upon the showing of a substantial change in circumstances, you can modify your financial orders.
